All but a flip-side Fancy Bright of The Pigeon Pool — rePurposed

Pigeon girl & boy
Flip-flap their feathers, fill’d with joy
Within a cool
Yet sun-lit pool,
Until they see:
It bothers me,
That such a fool I am —
That I don’t join them;
Hence, without a further glance,
& giving me no slightest chance
To take at least a photograph,
They quickly quaff
A final sip,
& with a flappy flop
They flip
Up to an edge;
& when my glance again they catch,
They look from far atop
Adown
& watch me frown.
